What up Waggers

May 18th
WHAT UP WAGGERS!

This week was just AMAZING!!! Even though we had to go to every zone conference (so many meetings for DAYYZZZZZZ), and I messed up on head shoulders knees and toes in front of a lot of people (that was embarrassing), but needless to say we taught 25 lessons and had a fantastic week!

We have these investigators that are the most adorable family known to mankind! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH! Their last name is the Lopez. The Dad looks like the running man off Cool Runnings. They have three boys. The little kids speak english and the parents speak only spanish so it's been hard teaching the lessons twice to the parents then to the kids. Little Eric is 8 and is just my little Rex! We get along like brother and sister. We are just constantly making fun of each other and just ah love them!

Anywho we really really really needed them to come to church because they didn't come last week. We prayed to Heavenly Father last Monday and we basically promised we would not be going to church unless we had the Lopez family with us (big deal because... we are missionaries we can't just not go to church ya know) . So we meet with them everyday and the days that they weren't home we would call them and the Dad is so awesome he would read some verses from the BOM for us over the phone. But Sunday morning rolls around and we decide to go over at 8am and help them get ready for church and THEY WERE ALREADY GETTING READY! AHHHH IT WAS THE GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD! We got there at like 9:20 but we got to church!  CAN I GET A WOOT WOOT! They had a really awesome experience and THEY ARE GOING TO BE BAPTIZED! SO PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM!

SORRY DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME TO EMAIL YOU GUYS ALL BACK TODAY... MY COMP WANTS TO GO PLAY SOCCER SO GTG BUT KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU GUYS AS FAR AS J.S. LITTLE CAR CAN CARRY HER!

HAVE THE BEST WEEK EVA!
NATS!

(if the soccer game ends I will come back on and email you more! because this week was as exciting as grandma lee opening a big box of garbage bags!)

DEAR FAMILY!
Oh it was just the most wonderful thing EVER to see you guys yesterday... wow and I had no idea Dad would change so much in just a short 3 months! haha I love you guys!

Ok so this email will be short since we talked yesterday BUT we were biking on this road that has absolutely zero, zilch, nada shoulder so it's so sketch! anywho there was a dead armadillo and as I was getting closer I was like crap crap crap noooooo what do I do??? I couldn't swerve because like what, get hit by the car or fall in the canal on the other side. I JUST HAD TO GO THROUGH IT! uhhhhh ahhhhh ddioasdfaodfhao GROSSEST THING EVER!! I inhaled that thing. It smelt so bad. I was like heaving on the side of the road. Right when I get back going- DEAD RACCOON! I'm like come on animals die honorably in the woods with your friends NOT RIGHT HERE WHERE I HAVE TO DOUBLE RUN YOU OVER!

One other fun thing that happened this week was when we were driving  in the car and stopped at the stop light. The car next to us had their windows down so what do you do?? I jump out and I scared the guy to death but I was like, "HEY! Read this! I know it will bless you in your life"! and then this little voice in the back of the car was like, "I'm already a member!" I'm like "oh good, now go..... uhh talk about it with all your friends!"

Anyways, it was an awesome week especially talking to my peps back home.
LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! WOOT WOOT FOR THE WAGSTAFF ROOT!

Mother's Day Call Recap

Mom and Dad were so excited to see you. Dad wore a cowboy hat and Texas flag cape and then changed into his skiing wig and visor. Mom had a grand plan of you seeing all your nieces and nephews for a bit and then they went into your room and played so we could all hear.  Each couple had 5 minutes to ask you questions and Mom and Dad had 15 minutes.  We had a fun time seeing you and meeting your companion.  Your comp timed the conversation and sat by you as we Skyped.

Hello Family

Made it through the first transfer
HELLO FAMILY,

So first off there was like a hawk in Walmart... that place is a jungle for reals... Anywho we had our first cockroach and it was the size of texas. I just want to know where it came from. That's all I want to know! I bet he wonders where he came from too.

I've officially been hired at cafe rio because I can make a darn tortilla! Our recent convert Jessenia taught us how to make them and wow I was tossing, flipping, twirling tortillas right and left!

I feel like everyone I met this week was not real...one man I was talking to thought I would kill his cat or something. Right when I said, "So what's your name?" he's like, "I have a black belt." "Oh wow thats awesome. So have you lived inTexas your whole life?" "I have a blackbelt" (he would not stop telling me that) This other lady told me she was from Utopia. Is that even a real place? And another man asked me if I was Eve that ate the fruit so that was fun! Lots of fun people here in Texas!

We got to go to Young Womens this week and it was so fun! It was for Mother's Day and just made me miss my mother so much and Shelly Moss! They had spa night so we were helping out, painting nails and just doing all that fun girl stuff!

Yesterday we were teaching the Lopez family. Our lesson with them got over later than we thought and we were on the complete opposite side of our area on BIKES! I was biking my little heart out! I am flying faster than little Natalie Wagstaff's legs can go. I got to a point where I really didn't know if I could keep up any longer. (My chicken legs are worthless) We were trying so hard to get home on time but also be careful biking in the dark. The adrenaline rush was real... like all those times at festival prepared me for this moment when I almost went flying into this river on my bike. My heart was pounding but don't worry, I'm alive!  I could feel myself falling further and further behind my companion, so I prayed for anything to help me. A member to see us and give us a ride, my legs to have strength, anything! Suddenly, I literally felt like someone was pushing me from behind. I had the strength! I turned around and of course no one was there. I knew that it was my grandparents on the other side. I have a firm belief that my ancestors on the other side of the veil are always helping, and lifting me up. As I got up to my companion she said "Hermana, I can't do this I really can't."  I said, "Have no fear; Mimi is here!"  We have the one and only Mimi Torgerson! So that was a super cool experience this week!

We also got to go to the Polga on Saturday... it was basically a really crappy flea market. So many people trying to sell underwear, who knows why, lots of gold chains. and lots of hot sauce. We got a booth and set up pictures and had Books of Mormon set up. They told us we weren't allowed to approach people but if people approached us we could talk to them. So it was basically a day of sitting on the rocks of the green river waiting for the fish to bite. We had a couple but most were just bites nothing more.

One more random funny thing... yesterday we were at the Luna's house. They are all members but they have one son that is inactive so we go visit with them alot. We were like we just want everyone to bare their testimonies for two minutes. The parents go and it's great. Then it just gets really awkward when the kids go. Hermana Luna was like guys it doesn't have to be anything big just bring the spirit. So Brandon, he's like 12 I think was like, "Spirit Activate!" haha I was dying. Started crying and everything. I also thought I had a lot of nicknames before but this family has given me 1,038 more. Hermana whatsup, what, goldilocks, elsa, Hermana wowza soooo many more and they just make fun of me so I love them because it feels like home!

Well transfer calls... I'm staying in Manvel! woot woot! and I get to call you guys next Sunday at like 2:30 my time! I cannot wait to see you all! So grab your kids, grab your spouses, because I be skyping and I wanna see them all!!!
love you family!!

Nancy Rue Jones and the Rain Gutters

April 27th

TRYING TO THINK OF WHAT EVEN HAPPENED THIS WEEK...
Ok so I don't really remember what happened but oh yeah i do....I went on exchanges with this sister named Sister Sanchez.. SOOOO cute! We had so much fun together. I love the sisters I can be sarcastic with! She came to my area so I was nervous to take over the area for the first time but it actually went ok! I didn't get us lost and we had a wonderful day!

The next day we went to her area and we were walking around and found this 82 year old. I REPEAT 82 year old woman on this ladder cleaning her rain gutters. So I was like, "Hey, whoa let me help you. You shouldn't be doing this alone!" She slowly walks down the ladder and she's like, "Miss, do you know who I am? I am Nancy Rue Jones. Everyone in Texas knows Nancy Rue Jones." I'm like, "Well Nancy Rue Jones, I am here to clean out your rain gutters." All the people are so intimidating at first but end up being so AWESOME! She is the FUNNIEST lady since Jackie Anderson. She told me in detail how much she hates all of her neighbors and how she wants me to get transferred to her area right now because her rain gutters get full about once a week! She was like most missionaries that come by offer to make me gravy or talk to me but it's terrible!.... hahaha she was just about as crazy as jackie! i loved her so much!

This week we were working really hard on getting all of the less actives back to church and it was SUCH A MIRACLE yesterday! We had FIVE less-actives come to church!!! That's like a whole pew of people whaoooooooo! Our ward is super small but the members are literally INCREDIBLE!

We went out to dinner with one of our less-actives Mario. He took us to this nicest dinner place.... He got so mad at me for asking for a kids meal... but kids meals are my JAMMMM.

oHHH ALSO GUYS- I really wanted a smoothie yesterday but we don't have many things to mix in soooooo I made this smoothie with lemon cake and fruit! SOOOOO GROSS DON'T EVER EVER EVER DO IT! I would have been fired from jamba juice so fast!

Well sorry I don't have much to report about this week! but I love ya'll! Over and out!
