HEY FAM! HOW'S EVERYBODY DOIN?? I get so scared when I wake up on a small Monday morning wondering how the family night group always sneaks into my dreams. This episode Lori Radman wouldn't take off her sunglasses and Jana couldn't find a fork so she was knocking all our neighbors doors. Angie instead of bringing a lesson was like, "guys I've got an awesome new, chic activity" BREAK DANCING ON HER HEAD! ... oh man I was so embarrassed for everyone!! This week was warm... couldn't find my bike shorts soooo what does one do in a situation like this?? go to texas thift you might say?? nope. we moved.... knock the neighbors doors like I did for sugar?? nope. I'm so angry at max the dog upstairs- he pooped on OUR DOORSTEP and we don't have the guts to move it so now it's all moldy and fuzzy! So I cut my fleece lined tights to the knees mom sent me for christmas. Now I feel like I'm riding with cats wrapped around my thighs!! sooo much fun on the bikes!! so many adventures!
So the ginger sandwich is fun!! I've learned ALL the ins and outs of being a ginger! Sometimes i think i'm in some sort of therapy called Perks of being a Ginger from all the things I'm learning! So far i've learned.... that sunscreen only works for 10 minutes. While everyone else is getting a golden tan you look like a lobster. You burn through your clothes. You get small patches of freckles in random spots and when your lucky sometimes your freckles will all attach and you will appear TAN!! and lastly you can't marry anyone but a white tall man. Learning new things every day. Perks of being a wallflower!
My heart has really really been opened this week and now any struggle of mine will seem like a pebble in my shoe. We have this hilarious member Hna. Rapalo. When i first met her i was like how in the world does this lady know spanish?? comes down to it that she's married to a man from honduras. When I first met her she was 350 pounds in a power chair but now has lost like 100 pounds and can walk. She's been a member for 9 years and she is the only member in her fam. She asked us to come meet her daughter and kids who really need love and help so of course we were soooo excited to go meet them but i had no idea how much this sweet little family would humble me!
Stephanie is her name... she was 350 pounds as well. Two years ago she got a surgery called the sleeve. She was fine for about a week and then went into a coma. When she came out of the coma she was completely brain damaged, couldn't really remember much, she can't wake, can barely talk (it sounds like a 8 year old), has to wear diapers, and just lays in bed all day. She has these two ADORABLE daughters Brittney and Breanna. Her boyfriend that she lives with is really really sweet to her and her daughters just love him so much! But stephanie is pregnant with ANOTHER DAUGHTER! I was just so humbled sitting on her bed. I just started to bawl. She kept telling us, "I've lived this before. I know what's going to happen. I'm going to die soon." It was kind of scary but we just testified of our Savior and his perfect plan! I'm obsessed with these little girls! We invited them to church with us on sunday and they were kinda hesitant because they have outgrown their dresses but have no fear Andi Wagstaff has style! Breanna wore my dress to church and she asked if she could keep it! of course little one! Then I asked if they wanted to play Church fixin' and they did! So we came over sunday morning and blow dried and curled their hair.They looked like movie stars stephanie said! I was like stephanie can I curl your hair! she didn't want to but I love when she laughs! she is amazing and so strong! i just can't believe how amazing she is.
Lorenzo snow is doing awesome! we threw a b-day party for his GF. The party was off the hizzhouse! We had people lined up all down the neighborhood to Dallas because we brought THE RESTO VIDEO!!! HIT IT JOSEPH SMITH!!! we then topped the night off with a good round of there is sunshine in my soul and everybody was crying!!! THERE IS SUNSHINE IN MY SOUL! SAN MARCOS WHAT UP!!! Gotta love San Marcos! none of our members will come there with us because they are too scared! haha such a beaut! texas!!!
